Dear Ninja Warrior
My Dear Ninja Warrior,
You have been dealt a blow. But I know you. You are a fighter who doesn’t give up. You fight for good, for justice, for truth. You fight that love might live.
Wikipedia says a ninja was a covert agent or mercenary in feudal Japan who used strategies that included espionage, sabotage, and infiltration. That’s you. You are a covert agent for Jesus. You infiltrate and disarm the enemy with your love, humor, and quips, then you sabotage his evil intents. You expose his strategies to pull people away from a core of pure faith.
You know the old picture of a kitten barely hanging on to the end of a rope? That’s me. You? You are the rock climber secure with your carabineers and anchors repelling down the cliffs.
But we can both use the same encouragement in the battles we face. Even secure rock climbers face daunting sections of climbs.
You are being held in the unrelenting, ever arising love of Jesus. Your battle, Ninja, is to hold on to, and rest in, this truth no matter what lies the enemy tries to throw your way. Remember to also let Jesus be your Ninja using His stealth to hide you in His shelter. He is experienced with fighting His enemy. He is your shield.
